Gary Rance ½” and ¼” Skew Chisels
With these tools you can turn your beads, V cuts, plane and turn pegs and fillets.
As they are round they roll more easily than the traditional skews. They are ground at 2 degrees off square.
The ¼” Skew Chisel is a very handy tool for smaller diameter work e.g. miniatures, bobbins, etc. as well as turning
shallow boxes. All these tools are manufactured from high speed steel (HSS) and come with a hand turned handle.

Polishing Mops
Gary Rance is pleased to announce that he has sole UK rights to sell the INGENIUM BRAND
TOOL. It is a wood lathe mounted polishing mop pig-tail. This device when mounted between the head and tail stocks
of the lathe, allows the owner to polish many different types of material. With the correct type of mop and compound or wax your
turned item can be brought to a high shine.
If inexperienced, please consult your compound supplier about selection and correct use of their products!

3/8” Box Scraper – this tool is suitable for making boxes or face plate work.
Simply use it as a scraper with the tool handle higher than the cutting tip. When turning to the inside
edge of the box, simply turn the tool slightly to your left to prevent the tool from snatching on the side of the box.
